The path of holy goddess Sri Sri Chandi is the most popular and greatest in Hindu religion. It is recited in entirety during Navratri, a Hindu festival also known as "the festival of the nine goddesses". The Chandi Path is a major part of the Veda and Puranas, and because of this it has been studied closely by many writers. The Chandi Path has been written in Sanskrit, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali and other languages. In the year 2008 a book named Sri Sri Chandi Path was published in Bengali. The book was written by Dashaprasad Bhakatkar who was a follower of Goddess Mahalakshmi. He was born at Panipat, Haryana. He is the editor of Chandi Path magazine. Panipat is one of the most important cities in Haryana. The Chaturvidh Paddhati is a holy book that contains four vidhis or paths. These are Sri Sri Chandi Path (Chapter 67), Sri Sri Gauri Path (Chapter 68), Sri Sri Brahmchari Path (Chapter 69), and the Shri Mahabharata Jayanti Path (Chapter 70). Dashaprasad Bhakatkar wrote this book in Bengali following the original Sanskrit script, using the traditional method of lettering. In this book five stories from the Veda and Puranas are read during Navratri. In the opening letter Bhakatkar explains that he has been reading these stories from the Veda and Puranas for a long time, his whole life. His mother tongue is Marathi and his father tongue is Hindi. He said: "I am satisfied with reading this holy book (Chatur Paddhati) and other books and I feel very good after completing this book." An excerpt from the opening letter: "During my childhood I read a lot of books, but one thing I didn’t understand was that why there are many different paths. But today I have found a way which will help me to know the truth by reading this holy book. The truth is that all paths lead to God." He said: "I have been reading this Chandi Path in Marathi and other languages many times, but for some reason I could not bring myself to read it in Bengali. That is why it has been published after a long time." An excerpt from the opening letter: "In general Bengalis learn their mother tongue very easily because of their good intellect. Their language is very rich in vocabulary and grammar; however, most people do not know this." Chandi Path is written in Sanskrit. cfa1e77820
